General Travel Terms.

Safety, comfort, and transparency are the foundations of our operations. Familiarize yourself with Finlandian Lines' terms for charter and package tours.

luggage

Luggage

Every passenger is entitled to carry hand luggage and luggage placed in the bus's luggage compartment. For charter trips, luggage volumes are often agreed upon separately according to the group's needs.

Special Luggage (Allowed with prior notice)

Bicycles (disassembled/protected), strollers, skis (in bags), musical instruments, and golf bags are transported subject to luggage compartment capacity. For charters, this is agreed upon during booking.

Forbidden Luggage

For safety reasons, it is forbidden to bring into the bus: explosives, flammable liquids, corrosive substances, weapons, or items that soil the bus interior.

Small pets in the cabin

Small pets (such as cats, small dogs, and rodents) can travel on the bus free of charge, provided they are in a safe transport box or bag.

  • check Must not be placed on a seat
  • check Muzzles are recommended for dogs

visibility Guide Dogs

Guide dogs for the visually impaired, as well as police and assistance dogs, always travel free of charge with their owner without special conditions.

warning Passengers with Allergies

The driver has the right to assign a seat at the back of the bus to a passenger traveling with a pet out of consideration for possible allergic passengers.

Booking and Cancellation Terms

Charter confirmations are made in writing via email. The quote is valid for the time stated therein.

Cancellation terms for charters:

  • More than 14 days before departure Free of charge
  • 13 - 7 days before departure 25% of the price
  • 6 - 2 days before departure 50% of the price
  • Less than 48 hours before departure 100% of the price

confirmation_number Tickets and Package Tours

Tickets for regular long-distance lines (launching in 2027) and separately sold package tours are valid only on the date and time indicated on the ticket.

  • info Tickets purchased from the online store are delivered to email or a mobile app.
  • info When buying from the driver, bank and credit cards as well as cash are accepted as payment methods.
  • cancel Campaign tickets cannot be changed or refunded.

Complaints and Feedback

Our goal is to provide flawless service. However, if your trip did not go as expected or your luggage was damaged, please contact us as soon as possible.

Submit a report

All complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the end of the trip to info@finlandianlines.fi.

Processing

We confirm receipt of the complaint. Processing time is typically 14-30 days depending on the complexity of the case.

Resolution and Compensation

Damaged items are compensated primarily against purchase receipts, up to the company's defined compensation limit (200 €).
